Kimberly-Clark fire in Barrow spreads into roofspace

Fire crews have taken more than six hours to put out a fire at a large factory in south Cumbria.

Twenty five firefighters attended the Kimberly-Clark tissue papermill on Park Road, Barrow, after the alarm was raised at 04:06 BST.

It is thought the fire started in one of the paper making machines and spread into the panels of the roofspace of Papermill Three.

Fire crews finished damping down at 10:40 BST.
