The family of a man found dead at a house in Carlisle have paid tribute to the "beautiful young man".

Police discovered the body of 23-year-old Luke Hollingsworth at a house on Etterby Lea Road in the Stanwix area on Wednesday.

A 20-year-old man who was found inside the house with serious injuries, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Mr Hollingsworth's mother, Jill, said the family was "devastated" at the loss of the "warm, loving, friendly boy".

The arrested man remains in hospital after undergoing surgery on Thursday.

Cumbria Police said they have been unable to interview him due to the injuries he sustained.
