Cumbria motorcyclist dies in A684 crash
A man has died after a motorbike and a car collided on the A684 in Cumbria.
The 48-year-old motorcyclist from Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands, died at the scene after his BMW bike and a Hyundai Amica collided at about 13:40 BST at Garsdale Head, Sedbergh.
The driver of the car, a 79-year-old man from Lincolnshire, was treated in hospital for minor injuries and is helping police with their inquiries.
A 73-year-old female passenger in the car was not injured.
The road was closed for about five hours. Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses.
