Carlisle man charged over M6 cocaine and amphetamine find

A man has been charged after drugs worth about £200,000 were seized on the M6 in Cumbria.

Cocaine and amphetamine were found by officers who stopped a car near Kendal at about 22:30 BST on Monday.

A Carlisle man has now been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply amphetamine and possession with intent to supply mephedrone.

The 42-year-old will appear before Carlisle Crown Court on 18 May.
