Cumbria man jailed for sexual activity with a child

A man who admitted child sex offences has been jailed.

Daniel Lee Coleman, of Rydal Street, Carlisle, previously pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child aged under 16.

The 30-year-old committed the offences in late 2013 and early 2014.

Coleman was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court and placed on the sex offenders' register for an indefinite period. He was also subject to the terms of a sexual harm prevention order.

Coleman's case is to be reported to the independent safeguarding authorities.
