Man charged over FA Cup racist behaviour allegations

A man has been charged in connection with alleged racist behaviour directed at players at Carlisle United's FA Cup fourth round tie with Everton.

Owen Newbury is accused of racially aggravated harassment following Everton's first goal in the match, held at Brunton Park, Carlisle on 31 January.

The 18-year-old from Skinburness Drive, Silloth will appear before North Cumbria magistrates on 31 May.

Everton won the fourth round tie 3-0.
