Cars in Raynesway damaged by stone 'missiles'

Derbyshire Police have warned drivers to be vigilant after cars were damaged by people throwing bricks and stones.

Police said a brick "missile" was thrown from a bridge over the A5111 in Raynesway and broke the back window of a Renault Laguna on 18 May.

On 19 May, a Ford Galaxy was damaged, a Renault Laguna's windscreen was smashed and a Mazda's wing mirror was broken by stones thrown from the bridge.

Police said the drivers of the cars were lucky to escape without injury.

Anyone who has information about the incidents which all happened between 2045 and 2130 BST, is asked to contact Derbyshire Police.
