Wildcat Crags climber falls 20m from rock face

A climber suffered head injuries in a 60ft (20m) fall from a Derbyshire rock face.

Fire, police, ambulance and mountain rescue crews were called to Wildcat Crags in Matlock Bath just before 1900 BST on Thursday.

It is believed falling rocks caused the man, who has not been named, to fall during his climb.

He was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
