Appeal over shotgun holes in door of Normanton house

Police in Derby are asking for witnesses to come forward over damage to a front door believed to have been caused by a shotgun.

Officers found two holes in the front door of a house on Augusta Road in Normanton on Sunday.

The 41-year-old resident was not at home when the damage was caused, sometime between 2200 BST on Saturday and 0200 BST on Sunday.

Derbyshire Police have urged anyone with information to contact them.
