Fire crews cool gas cylinders at scrapyard fire

Employees at several businesses that were evacuated after a fire at a Derbyshire scrapyard have returned to work.

Firefighters were called to the scrapyard in Cromford Road, Langley Mill just before 1100 BST on Monday.

Three cars were destroyed in the fire and eight gas cylinders in the scrapyard were cooled down by the fire crews.

It is not yet known how the fire started, a fire service spokesman said.
