CCTV of Derbyshire newsagent robbery suspect issued
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at a Derbyshire newsagent.
A man went into the shop in Railway Street, Hadfield, just after 1330 BST on 13 July.
Police said the offender threatened staff with a knife and demanded cash.
A 73-year-old shop worker and the owner of the store tackled the man, who then made off with cigarettes. He was last seen running down Pingot Lane.
The robber is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s and about 6ft 2in tall.
He was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, with distinctive markings on the back pockets, a dark grey padded jacket with a hood and a baseball cap.
Det Sgt Phil Bateman said: "This was a nasty offence where an elderly person was targeted in a local family shop in the middle of the day.
"We would like to praise the bravery those in the shop for the way they tackled the offender and gave chase to him."
A 16-year-old youth was arrested and questioned by officers in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
