Detectives are handing out leaflets appealing for information about the death of a man on a Derby street.

Serioza Lawskoski, 29, was attacked in Cummings Street in the early evening of 23 April by a group of five men and died later from head injuries.

The leaflets, in several different languages, will be handed out between 10:00 BST and 19:00 BST from outside Pak Foods in Normanton Road.

Eight men have been arrested and bailed in connection with the death.

Det Insp Paul Callum said: "We have had leaflets printed in several languages, including Polish and Slovakian, to get the message across to as many people as possible.

"Mr Lawskoski was attacked in the street in broad daylight and we are certain that people in the community would have seen what happened, or have information that could help us with the investigation."

Officers have made several appeals for witnesses since the investigation began.
