Images issued over gun robbery at Swadlincote Ladbrokes
CCTV images have been released of a man police want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery in Derbyshire.
Two female members of staff at Ladbrokes in High Street, Swadlincote, were threatened with what is thought to have been a handgun.
The suspect, who was wearing a dark hooded anorak and sunglasses, escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
Three customers, all men, were also in the bookmaker's when the raid happened at about midday on Tuesday.
Insp Paul Cannon said: "Thankfully no-one was injured during the robbery but the staff were threatened with a firearm and we're treating this case very seriously.
"Robberies such as this are not common in Swadlincote and I'm sure the community will be shocked to hear what has happened."
The man police want to trace was also captured on CCTV with the hood of his anorak down and without his sunglasses.
He is described as white with a tanned complexion, bald and about 6ft 3in tall.
Police, including dog units and armed officers, searched the area afterwards but could not find the robber.
