Two more charged with murder over Derby attack

Two more people have been charged with murder in connection with the death of a Derby man.

Johnny Assani, 43, who lived in the Peartree area, died in hospital on Monday evening after being assaulted in Walbrook Road in Derby on 14 August.

The suspects, who are both male, aged 32 and from Derby, are due to appear at Derby and South Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Friday.

A 33-year-old man, also from Derby, was charged with murder on Wednesday.

He appeared before magistrates on Thursday and was remanded in custody until 22 August when he is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
