Boy arrested over street stabbing in Derby

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Derby in which a man was seriously injured.

Officers were called to Sunnyhill Avenue at about 23:30 BST on Saturday after reports of a disturbance involving a group of men.

The 22-year-old victim received a stab wound to the side of his body and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Two males aged 17 and 19, have already been arrested over the attack.

All three suspects were being questioned by police on Monday morning.
