Serioza Lawskoski murder: police arrest 15 people
Police investigating the murder of a man who died after being attacked by a gang in Derby have arrested 15 people.
Serioza Lawskoski, 29, was found unconscious on Cummings Street on 23 April and died later in hospital.
Police re-arrested five men aged between 18 and 28 on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Officers also arrested several other people from Peartree and Alvaston for a range of offences.
A 21-year-old man who was previously arrested for murder has now been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Another man, 21, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Two women, aged 57 and 45 and three men, aged 43, 58 and 34 were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, a man was arrested on suspicion of drugs possession after police found him to be carrying suspected heroin and a woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and assisting an offender.
All 15 remain in custody and are being questioned by officers.
Supt Andy Stokes, who is leading the inquiry, said: "This is still an ongoing investigation and I would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
"I hope that people who may not have felt confident enough to come forward following this tragic event will now reconsider their position and contact us."
