Man and pregnant woman hurt in Derby dog attacks

Police are trying to trace a dog that attacked a man and a pregnant woman in Derby.

A man suffered several bite marks to his body, legs and arms after the attack on Abbey Street at about 02:30 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital and later discharged.

In a similar incident a pregnant woman suffered minor injuries on 12 September. Officers believe the same brown Mastiff was behind the attacks.

The dog's owner is described as white, of slim build and was wearing jeans.
