Six men arrested after suspected stolen car parts found
Derbyshire Police have arrested six men and recovered cash and suspected stolen car parts from a garage in Derby.
Three men, aged 30, 31, 34, and two men aged 35, were arrested at the garage in Coronation Street on Wednesday on suspicion of handling stolen property.
A 37-year-old man was also arrested in Stenson Fields also on suspicion of handling stolen property.
Many of the cars had been reported stolen after thieves broke into houses and took the car keys, police said.
Det Insp Graham Prince said: "Some of the parts appear to have come from cars which have previously been reported stolen to the police by people living in Derbyshire and elsewhere in the country."
He said the value of items recovered "could run into thousands of pounds".
