Motorcyclist dies after Grange Mill Quarry collision

A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a lorry near a Derbyshire quarry.

The crash, which involved a Honda bike and a Volvo tipper lorry, happened outside the Grange Mill Quarry, near Cromford, at 11:00 BST on Saturday.

A 50-year-old man, who was riding the Honda, was taken to the Chesterfield Royal Hospital where he later died.

Derbyshire police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
