Derby sexual assaults: Police investigate possible link

Police investigating sexual assaults on two women in Derby believe they have been carried out by the same man.

In the first incident, a 24-year-old woman was walking along Gordon Road on Monday at 19:20 BST when a man grabbed her and indecently exposed himself.

Police said minutes later a 17-year-old girl was walking along Moore Street when she was pushed to the ground by a man who then sexually assaulted her.

Officers have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious to call them.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s and about 5ft 6in (1.67m) tall. He wore a bright blue and white hooded top.
