Man, 43, charged in Matlock murder case

A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a Derbyshire man whose body was found in the grounds of a library.

The body of Alexander Blick, 42, of Matlock Bath, was found on Sunday morning on Steep Turnpike in Matlock.

The man will appear before Chesterfield Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Blick died of head injuries, Derbyshire Police said.
