Derby Christmas lights theft: Second man arrested
A second man has been arrested in connection with the theft of Derby's Christmas lights.
Thieves broke into a compound at Markeaton Park on 9 November, taking lights, equipment and a cherrypicker.
The 26-year-old, from Derby, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and stealing a vehicle. He was released on bail pending further inquiries.
A 28-year-old man previously arrested over the theft remains on bail. Police have appealed for information.
The cherrypicker was recovered at the junction of Leaper Street and Watson Street a few days after the break-in.
Derby's switch-on ceremony went ahead after the city council organised replacement lights.
