Woman charged over 'cannabis factory' near Ballymena

A 34-year-old woman has been charged following the discovery of what police have described as a cannabis factory near Ballymena.

Officers found cannabis and herbal cannabis, each thought to be worth £20,000, during the search of a house at the Duneany Road in Glarryford.

The woman has been charged with growing cannabis as well as possession and possession with intent to supply.

She is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates' Court next month.
