Police in Derbyshire are trying to trace a convicted sex offender who has failed to report his home address.

Jeffrey Redman-Armstrong, 42, was jailed in 2005 at Derby Crown Court for sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16.

He was also placed on the sexual offenders' register and must inform police of his home address.

He was released in May 2011 but officers said they had had no contact with Redman-Armstrong since September.

A spokesperson from Derbyshire Police said Redman-Armstrong had connections to the Derby and Long Eaton areas.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police.
