Derby County Football Club helps to tackle obesity

Derby County Football Club is taking part in a new project to tackle obesity levels in the city.

The b-You Active Supporters scheme aims to help overweight male fans lose weight and get fit.

It is based on the fitness and nutrition plans that Rams players follow.

The plan is part of a project developed by NHS Derby City and the city council, which aims to get 650 people leading healthier lifestyles.

Supporters who are successful on the scheme will get the chance to play in a tournament at Pride Park and win a season ticket.
