Police said the man entered William Hill, on Green Lane, at 21:40 GMT on Thursday and jumped over the counter.

Neither of the two members of staff were hurt and the raider fled from the scene along Green Lane.

The man is described as black, in his 20s, between 5ft 8in (1.72m) and 5ft 10in (1.78m), and wearing a black scarf over his face.
