Four women charged over Derby election fraud

Police have charged four women over allegations of electoral fraud in Derby.

A 46-year-old woman has been charged with malpractice in a public office and two others, aged 27 and 28, have been charged with personation offences - voting as someone else.

Another woman, 23, arrested in January, has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

All four will appear before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates on 15 April.

The charges relate to the Rosehill Street polling station in Normanton during the 2012 local election.
