Chaddesden woman faces murder charge

A woman has been charged with the murder of a man who died at a house in Derby.

Julie Titheridge, 38, of Selkirk Street in Chaddesden, is accused of killing Stephen Burton, 50, in the early hours of Friday.

Police were called to Selkirk Street at 04:30 BST but Mr Burton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ms Titheridge is due to appear at Derby Magistrates' Court on Monday. Officers have asked witnesses to come forward.
