Woman raped after 'helping to find dog' in Chesterfield

A woman was raped after a man asked her to help him find his dog, police have said.

The attack happened off Springfield Avenue, Chesterfield, on 25 March between 22:05 and 22:25 GMT.

The victim was approached by a man who said he had lost his dog, but after walking down a footpath, was pushed to the ground and raped, officers said.

Detectives said they want to trace a man in his 20s with short black spiky hair, who spoke with a local accent.
