Accused husband in court over Barnstaple murders

The estranged husband of one of two women found dead after a house fire in north Devon has appeared in court.

The bodies of Debbie Jones, and Donna St John, both 35, were found in Fortmead Close, Barnstaple, last month.

Neil Langmead, 40, from Barnstaple, who was married to Ms Jones, is charged with murdering both women.

At Exeter Crown Court he was remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing at the same court on 10 January 2011.
