Two tonnes of metal stolen from Torrington yard

More than two tonnes of metal and tools valued at £11,000 have been stolen from an industrial yard in Devon.

Items including tools, 1.5 tonnes of copper and a tonne of brass was stolen from Deepmoor Metal Processing Yard in Torrington.

The incident happened between 0230 BST and 0400 BST on Monday morning.

Police said the offenders used a vehicle to transport the items and are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident or vehicle to contact them.
