A car has struck a tank containing 2,000 litres of propane gas in a south Devon car park.

The area around the tank in Churston Ferrers, Brixham, was evacuated and a 200m (660ft) cordon put in place after the car ended up on top of the tank.

Gas specialists from Shell have been called in to help remove the contents so the vehicle can be removed.

Police said the female driver was treated for shock but not otherwise injured.
