Police seize heroin worth £4,500 in Torquay

Police have seized a quantity of drugs, believed to be heroin, during a search of a property in Torquay.

Officers based at Paignton police station carried out the search in the Watcombe area.

A quantity of "brown powder" was recovered and is thought to be heroin with an estimated street value of £4500, detectives said.

A woman, aged 53, was arrested at the scene and was later released on police bail until 1st June.
