Out and about

Step back in time at Buckland Abbey near Yelverton, for in depth tours every Saturday in September between 2.00pm and 3.30pm. A member of the National Trust team will take you behind the scenes, in the roof and down the tunnel.


Somewhere in middle England four unlikely teenagers are preparing for judgement day with ladders, Elvis and Forest Fruits squash - Stokely's annual talent competition is nigh. With a stage full of instruments and an eclectic mix of recorded music, Little Bulb Theatre capture the confusing, awkward and beautifully naïve time of adolescence. The performance can be seen from 13 - 17 September at the Drum Theatre in Plymouth.


The world famous Treorchy Male Choir has made regular radio broadcasts, television appearances, commercial recordings, two feature films and overseas tours including Canada, USA and Australia. The choir members now bring their performance to the Plymouth Pavilions on 24 September from 19:30 BST.
