Fire crews tackle Dartmoor barn blaze

Fire crews have spent the night dealing with a huge barn fire on a Dartmoor farm.

Straw, hay and agricultural machinery were well alight when crews from across west Devon were called to the property in Tor Royal at 0039 BST on Sunday.

Crews feared 10 tonnes of fertiliser could explode if it caught fire in the 40m-long barn.

No-one was hurt in the fire which destroyed about 100 bales and part of the barn's roof.
