Woman, 91, hurt in Paignton park dog incident

A 91-year-old woman suffered a broken arm and a cut to her head in an incident with a dog in a Devon park.

The woman was walking through Victoria Park, Paignton, using a walking frame, when the collie-cross dog and its owner approached her on Sunday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it was unclear what happened next but the woman fell to the ground and had to be taken to hospital.

Officers said they were keen to trace the dog's owner.
