Plymouth NHS trust boss moving to Wales

The boss of a Plymouth NHS trust is to leave his post after 11 years for a new job in Wales.

Paul Roberts moved to the city in 1997 and became chief executive of Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust in 2000.

A trust spokesman said Mr Roberts was leaving to become chief executive of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board.

Mr Roberts will leave Plymouth at the end of July. Work has begun to find a successor, the trust added.
