No more action in 'unexplained' death of Plymouth man

Police in Plymouth investigating what was described as an unexplained death of a 70-year-old man are taking no further action into the incident.

Emergency services were called to a property in the Compton area of the city at 0605 BST following reports a man had been seriously injured.

He was taken to Derriford Hospital where he died a short while later.

Police said a post-mortem examination showed that there were no suspicious circumstances in the death.

A 69-year-old woman who had been questioned by officers and then bailed has been released without charge.
