A seven-storey building housing more than 100 students could be built close to Plymouth university.

Tiverton-based Colourcolt Student Living wants to build on land surrounded by Regent Street and Gibbons Street.

The company said it was the first phase in a scheme which could see other accommodation built when land became available.

The plans are to be discussed by the city council.
