Arson suspected in St Just property fire

Police are treating a fire which severely damaged a property in Cornwall as suspected arson.

No one was injured in the fire, which broke out at two-storey property in Carrallack Terrace, St Just, at about 00:00 BST on Sunday.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the building measured 12m (39ft) by 12m (39ft) and the fire affected the ground floor, first floor and roof.

Police and fire investigators are examining the scene.

Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
