Paignton police seize suspected stun guns and drugs
Police in Devon have seized suspected stun guns and drugs in a stop-check.
A blue Audi was stopped on Torquay Road in Paignton on Tuesday evening by officers from the Devon and Cornwall Police Road Crime Unit.
A search resulted in a seizure of what was believed to be cocaine with an estimated street value of £3,000.
Officers then carried out a search of an address in Brixham and seized 10 suspected stun guns disguised as mobile phones, police said.
A 32-year-old man from Brixham was arrested in connection with the discoveries and released on bail until November.
Stun guns, which are illegal in the UK, issue an electric shock which momentarily incapacitates victims.
