Man on murder charge over Newton Abbot death

A 45-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder after the discovery of a body in Devon.

The body of Paul Drury, 32, was found at a property in Valley Path, Newton Abbot, shortly after 21:00 GMT on Sunday.

Brian Harris, from Newton Abbot, appeared before magistrates in Torquay. He was remanded to appear at Truro Crown Court on Friday.

Two women, aged 46 and 49, arrested on suspicion of murder, are on bail.
