Nearly 90 jobs are due to be lost at newspapers including two covering Devon and Cornwall, the BBC has learned.

About 87 back office jobs are due to be lost at papers including the Western Morning News and Plymouth Herald, both based in the city.

Northcliffe Media is currently restructuring its operations in pre-production, affecting posts at the papers' base in Derriford.

It is not thought any editorial staff will be affected by the cuts.
