Teenager Jennifer Cattel's death after A38 crash 'accidental'

The death of a Somerset teenager who was hit by a car in Devon was accidental, a coroner has ruled.

Jennifer Cattel, 19, from Red Ball near Wellington died after the crash on the A38 near the village of Burlescombe.

Police said she was struck by a Rover 45 car in the accident, which took place on 28 February this year.

Ms Cattel's family told the inquest in Taunton that Jennifer was a "kind-hearted, fun loving and considerate young lady".
