The A38 dual carriageway near Plymouth has been reopened after a car crash.

The westbound carriageway was closed at about 12:20 GMT between Endsleigh Garden Centre and Lee Mill, near Ivybridge and reopened later.

The Peugeot 206 car was left on its roof and five people inside were injured.

The eastbound carriageway was closed for a while to allow an air ambulance to land. It later re-opened.

The five were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
