Woman crushed against police car in Tavistock

A woman has serious leg injuries from being crushed against a police car in Devon.

The woman, from the Plymouth area, was pinned to the stationary police car by a Volvo on Watts Road in Tavistock, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Officers were attending a separate accident when the incident happened.

The injury has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission and the full circumstances are being investigated.
