Wrong-way lorry driver on A380 arrested in Devon
A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after travelling the wrong-way along a dual carriageway in Devon.
Police said the 49-year-old man from Birmingham was also being held on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
The incident happened on the A380 Telegraph Hill, in south Devon, on Thursday night.
The lorry collided with a car, but the driver was not hurt, police added.
Drivers on the Torquay-bound road told officers the lorry was in the outside lane, after entering the dual carriageway from a side road at about 23:20 GMT.
Police stopped the vehicle about ten minutes later.
