A further 30 people have lost their jobs at a dairy company in Devon, bringing the total number of redundancies to at least 110.

The Farmright Group, including Quadra Foods, announced it was reducing its workforce by more than 80 earlier in the month.

It leaves just a few staff working at its head office in Langage Science Park in Plymouth.

Administrators Grant Thornton said it was confident a buyer would be found.

The firm produces a number of dairy products including milk in laminated sachets.

A Grant Thornton spokesman said the company had been unable to attract funding to invest in new technology and to break into new markets in the UK and overseas.
