Wall crash businessman Paul Vose on attempted murder charge

A businessman from north Devon has been charged with attempted murder.

Paul Vose, 65, from Bideford, was injured when his car crashed into a wall at Westward Ho! on 3 March.

Following the crash, Devon and Cornwall Police received reports of a stabbing in Northam and found a woman with multiple stab wounds.

Mr Vose was taken into custody and charged after being released from Derriford Hospital. He is due to appear before Exeter magistrates on Wednesday.

The victim, who is in her 50s but has not been named, is being treated at North Devon District Hospital for injuries to her abdomen, back and arms.
