Biker killed in South Molton crash named as Peter Owers

A man who died when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with another rider in Devon has been named by police.

Peter Owers, 71, from Lynton in North Devon, was one of two bikers killed in the crash at Rose Ash, near South Molton on Wednesday.

Earlier, police named the other rider as Graham Davey, 68, from Newton Abbot.

Police investigating the cause of the crash, which happened just after 13:00 BST, have appealed for witnesses.
